I am a research associate in the Cognitive Systems group at Reutlingen University. Before joining the lab, I received my M.Sc. in Intelligent Systems at Bielefeld University, completing my thesis in cooperation with ATR Institute International, and a B.A. in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Applied Science Osnabrueck where I worked on my thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.

I am interested in applied Reinforcement Learning and Planning, both in research and real-world contexts. Consequently I focus on using Machine Learning methods for learning robust data representations, to boost the transparency and performance of Deep Reinforcement Learning approaches.
